Slash does not want Led Zeppelin to reunite
Apr 04, 2012Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash claimed that Robert Plant was right when he snubbed the idea of Led Zeppelin reunion. The band had an opportunity to go on a world comeback tour at the beginning of 2007, but it all resulted in a single gig after Plant said he had no interest in reuniting with his bandmates.
Speaking about his decision, former Guns N' Roses member claimed: "When Robert Plant said he didn’t want to tour after the comeback show, I thought that was the right thing. It was a special night, so do not ruin it".
Members of Guns N' Roses' original line-up are set to meet with each other during their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in April. The announcement was made by the band's keyboardist Dizzy Reed.
He said: "I know that all the original band is going to be there. I don't know exactly what's going to go down. It's one of those things I'm sure will all come together and be really cool".
Reed pointed that it is unknown if line-up will perform.
