Slash announced release date for the new album
Feb 02, 2012Slash revealed details for his second solo album. Former Guns N' Roses guitarist decided to name the record Apocalyptic Love, it is set to hit the stores on May 21. Slash added that he will not release any single prior to the effort, because he finds doing so "too trite".
All songs on Apocalyptic Love were performed by Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy, who earlier recorded two tracks for Slash's debut solo album – Back From Cali and Starlight.
Recently it was announced that Slash is set to join Ozzy Osbourne on his upcoming Ozzy And Friends tour that replaces canceled Black Sabbath gigs.
Members of legendary metal band scheduled world tour for 2012 after announcing their reunion earlier this year. However, recently they had to cancel it due to guitarist Tony Iommi who continues to battle lymphoma.
"We are really sorry, but this time the circumstances are more powerful than us. We hope to get on the road one day", says the official statement.
