Sigur Ros will allow fans to listen to their new album

Sigur Ros announced that they will allow their fans to listen to their new album Valtari for free. The record will be steamed online on Thursday, May 17. According to the band's singer Jonsi Birgisson, it will give everybody the opportunity to decide whether they want to buy Valtari or not.

Valtari will feature seven songs, which, according to Jon Birgisson, reflect "the band's whole experience from previous years".

Recently Jonsi Birgisson revealed that he and his bandmates like modern pop-music. According to his words, they prefer compositions by David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna.
