Sigur Ros like pop-music

Sigur Ros frontman Jonsi Birgisson revealed that he and his bandmates like modern pop-music. According to his words, they prefer compositions by David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna.

"I really like the typical pop I hear on the radio. When I hear it on the radio when I'm driving I turn it up. I like Nicki Minaj and David Guetta - who everybody hates - but I think he has some good songs! Titanium is really good, I especially like that one. I like Rihanna too…I like Nicki Minaj too…I really like Superbass, but I don't like the new one. I expected something more flamboyant and over the top", claimed he.

Earlier Sigur Ros revealed details about their next studio effort. Titled Valtari, the album is set to hit the stores in May. It will feature seven songs, which, according to Jon Birgisson, reflect "the band's whole experience from previous years".

Jon Birgisson added that they are not sure if they will release any singles before Valtari hit the stores.
