Senator Obama became a hero of reggae song
Mar 03, 2008Jamaican singer Cocoa Tea recorded reggae song for US presidential contender Barack Obama. The song goes on to call Obama a «trendsetter» and urge Americans «to unite as one» behind him.
«This is not about class nor color, race nor creed. It's about the changes, what the Americans need. The young people who are supporting him want change», said Cocoa Tea.
He became the second Caribbean musician who supported Obama – the first one was Trinidadian star Mighty Sparrow, who recorded a track titled Barack The Magnificent.
