Robbie Williams will release a charity single

Robbie Williams’ new single Morning Sun was chosen as an official song for Sport Relief. This event, organized by Comic Relief fund, brings together celebrities from sport and entertainment to raise money for different charities.

All proceeds from the sales of Morning Sun will also be donated to the charity.

Robbie Williams himself claimed he was proud that his song has been chosen by Comic Relief. «I am very happy to donate my time to help Sport Relief and I think my co-writers are feeling the same», said he.

This week Robbie Williams was named among artists set to record a charity single for the Helping Haiti fund – an organization which is providing help for the earthquake victims in Haiti. This single also features such famous artists as Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, JLS, Alexandra Burke, James Blunt, Joe McElderry and Williams’ former bandmates from Take That.
