Ringo Starr is afraid to go onstage

Ex-The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr revealed that he still feels very anxious before going onstage – despite his long music career that lasts for more than 50 years. However, according to Ringo, he manages to overcome his fear every time.

"I feel like running away three seconds before I'm due to hit the stage. That's why I always run on to it. I would love to coolly stroll on stage but I cannot", said The Beatles member.

Ringo Starr added that despite his fear he likes to play gigs. "I love to work. Other bands may play two concerts a week when on tour. I prefer doing five", claimed he.

Ringo Starr is currently on tour in support of his last studio effort Y Not.
