Rihanna started the work on the new record

Rihanna announced that she has already started the work on her next studio effort. At the same time, singer pointed that it is still in the early stages and she has no clue when the record will be finished.

"I'm definitely thinking about the next record. I'm a multi-tasker. Right now we're working on collecting and creating the sound first before we even start working on the lyrical direction or melodies. I kind of have an idea though, and it's very rough right now. So I'm eager to start that", claimed she.

Recently Rihanna claimed that she would like to work together with Lady GaGa. According to singer's words, they have much in common. Rihanna also said she was sure that they could record "hot and sexy" music video.

"A collaboration between Lady Gaga and myself would be really cool because we do a similar type of music and we both really love fashion", said Rihanna.

"I'm sure it would be a very hot and sexy video. I would love to collaborate with her. Who wouldn't?" added she.
