Rihanna in "deep sorrow" after Donna Summer's death

Rihanna has joined the list of artists who paid tribute to the late disco singer Donna Summer. Singer has passed away yesterday, on May 17. Rihanna said that Donna Summer has always been a source inspiration for her, also claiming that she feels "deep sorrow".

"I was inspired by her in my early teens. She was a brilliant artist and wonderful person. I am in deep sorrow since I heard about her death. The world will never be the same again. RIP. We will miss you, dear Donna", said Rihanna.

Donna Summer was one of the most dominant disco singers of the late 1970's. Among her best known hits are I Feel Love, Love To Love You Baby and Hot Stuff. She has passed away at the age of 63, after a long battle with cancer.
