Sep 09, 2011
R.E.M. have revealed the list of tracks set to be featured on their upcoming best hits compilation Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage, 1982 – 2011. The album will contain 40 songs, including three entirely new compositions – We All Go Back To Where We Belong, A Month of Saturdays and Hallelujah.

According to bassist Mike Mills, they were recorded alongside R.E.M.'s last album Collapse Into Now that hit the stores this summer.

Talking about compilation itself, he said: "Working through our music and memories from over three decades was a hell of a journey. We realized that these songs seemed to draw a natural line under the last 31 years of our working together".
