REM guitarist is working on a special compilation

REM guitarist Peter Buck is working on a special compilation that will mark 20th anniversary of Merge Records. This ndependent record label, based in North Carolina, is working with such bands as Arcade Fire, Superchunk, Teenage Fanclub, Conor Oberst, Spoon and others.

In all, 14 subscription-only compilation albums will be released. Records for each disk will be selected by the custom curator. All proceeds will go to charities also selected by the curators.
