Red Hot Chili Peppers have chosen title for new album

Jun 06, 2011
Red Hot Chili Peppers revealed new information about their next studio album. The record is set to hit the stores in the end of August. It will be named I'm With You.

Earlier there were rumors that upcoming effort will be titled Dr Johnny Skinz's Disproportionately Rambunctious Polar Express Machine-head – this name has been suggested by a friend of singer Anthony Kiedis. However, the band has decided that I'm With You "would sound better".

The release of the album will be preceded by the single The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie that is set to hit the stores in July.

I'm With You will become Red Hot Chili Peppers first album in sixteen years recorded without John Frusciante. Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith already praised new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who replaced him last year: "He brought a lot to the table, he's an excellent writer".

Red Hot Chili Peppers' last to date studio record Stadium Arcadium hit the stores in 2006.
