Radiohead will release new album in 2010

Oct 10, 2009
Radiohead’s guitarist Ed O'Brien claimed that the band will definitely record new album in 2010. Earlier there were reports that Thom Yorke and his bandmates have been going to find new format to release their songs – for example, as singles through the Web – but O'Brien claimed that was not true.

«We will be making an album! We love the artwork; that's really important to us, the physicality. And we like vinyl. That's not going to go away», claimed he.

When O'Brien was asked to describe new album, he said that it would be «typical Radiohead». He also added: «We're not going into the studio in winter. It's always miserable! When you're in a studio in the countryside the music you make is definitely affected by what season it is».

Radiohead’s last album In Rainbows hit the stores in 2007.
