Radiohead to release new album this week

Radiohead confirmed that they will release new record this week. The album, titled TKOL RMX 1234567, is a compilation of remixes on the band's songs. All in all it features 19 tracks contributed by such artists as Caribou, Harmonic 313, Thriller, Pearson Sound and others.

Radiohead will also play a special concert to mark the release of TKOL RMX 1234567. Set to take place in London on October 11, it will feature performances by several artists who worked on the record. According to the band's statement, visitors will also see Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke taking a role of a DJ.

Thom Yorke described TKOL RMX 1234567as an attempt to look at the band's music "from the other side".

Earlier Thom Yorke revealed plans for upcoming future. According to the musician, next year he and his bandmates will go on a world tour in support of their last album The King Of Limbs. He added that Portishead's Clive Deamer is set to join them.
