Queens of the Stone Age concert nearly felt through because of fire

Thousands of fans were forced to temporarily evacuate a concert by American heavy metal band Queens of the Stone Age in Hobart last night when a stage light overheated, filling the venue with smoke.

Fans waited on the footpath while firefighters fixed the problem. The concert began about 20 minutes late without any more accidents.
