Pete Wentz launched new band
Jul 07, 2010"There will be no treasure hunt. No viral campaign. Just the opposite – next week things will appear in a very controlled distribution", he wrote.
Pete Wentz also claimed that Fall Out Boy's fans should try his new band. "If it's not for you then we understand. But if you enjoy it, keep coming back", said he.
Last year Fall Out Boy members announced that they would take an "indefinite break" from all kinds of band duties. According to their spokesperson, none of the four band's members are going to work on music at that time.
The band was formed in 2001 and reached mainstream success with its third album From Under The Cork Tree in 2003. Fall Out Boy's last to date record Folie A Deux was released in 2008. Greatest hits album Believers Never Die is set to hit the stores on November 30.
