Former The Libertines guitarist Pete Doherty revealed that he would like to take part in Eurovision Song Contest. Musician claimed that he likes this festival and will be glad to represent Great Britain or France – he has even written a proper song for it.

"I would love to do Eurovision. I would love to do it and I would love to win it for England. I've got the song. Let's get in the Eurovision. Actually, I would like to enter on behalf of France", stated he.

Recently Pete Doherty claimed that The Libertines will definitely reunite in future. According to his words, he has recently met frontman Carl Barat and they have spoken about making new music together, so it is just a matter of time till they reform.

"He took away some of my stuff to put some riffs on. He said he's got a few ideas but he's short of lyrics. Yeah. A future where we get together and make really good music. We've never not been a band. I really feel like it's easier being in his company now than it was", stated he.
