Pete Doherty is going to release new album

Former The Libertines guitarist Pete Doherty revealed that according to his contract with EMI record label he still needs to release one more solo album. Musician claimed he has already written 12 songs for it and currently is recording them with a new producer.

"I keep getting told that I am under obligation to fulfill the contract with EMI, so we're looking to put a new album together. The producer is Adem Hilmi and he works at Slaughterhouse Studios in Harlesden. He's taken my hard drive with a view to putting this album together. It'll be 12 songs", said he.

Since The Libertines' split-up Pete Doherty has made only one solo album – titled Grace/Wastelands, it hit the stores in 2009.
