Pet Shop Boys announced release of best hits compilation

Pet Shop Boys revealed plans to release greatest hits compilation. Titled Ultimate Pet Shop Boys, it is set to hit the stores on July 1. The band's members in their official statement described it as "comprehensive greatest hits collection".

All in all, the album will feature 19 songs representing the band's entire career, starting from West End Girls to Love Etc. The full tracklisting will be announced later.

Last month members of Pet Shop Boys announced that they may create a collection of tracks they have recorded in different years but never officially released. According to the band's Neil Tennant, he already discussed this idea with his bandmates and they liked it – although nothing is set for sure at this moment.
