Paul McCartney’s guitar was sold during the charity auction
Nov 11, 2007Charity auction was held on November 20 in London. During this event the guitars that belonged to famous musicians were sold. The main lot was a 10ft tall Les Paul guitar replica that belonged to Paul McCartney. It was made by visual artist Rosie Brooks and signed by The Beatles legend himself. Its final price was £60,000.
Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood's guitar went for £11,000, while Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters guitar went for £10,500, and Guns’n’Roses’ Slash's Gibson went for £8,500.
