Sir Paul McCartney denied rumors that he was going to end his touring career. According to his spokesman, there is no exact date for McCartney when he will stop touring. The spokesman also denied rumors that McCartney was set to perform a farewell concert tour next year.

Last week, British press reported that former The Beatles member was going to quit touring next year. The Sun newspaper cited a source close to McCartney as saying: «He realizes that the older he gets, the less his body will be able to cope with the demands of extended periods on the road».

The source also claimed that the tour will last for over a year until Paul McCartney’s 70th birthday. The singer is eager to perform shows in locations he hasn't previously visited. «Paul McCartney wants to go out with a bang. He's played countless stadiums over his 50-year career and is on the hunt for the most unusual locations he can find», claims the source.

Paul McCartney’s last disk Memory Almost Full hit the stores in 2007. In 2008, he released record Electric Arguments as a side project The Fireman.
