Paul McCartney recorded a track for Robert De Niro

Sir Paul McCartney has finished the work on a new song (I Want To) Come Home for the soundtrack of the upcoming movie Everybody`s Fine. This movie tells about an old widower named Frank (portrayed by Robert De Niro) who makes a journey to meet all his grown-up children and discovers that they all have troubles in their lives.

The movie also stars Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell.

According to Paul McCartney, it was De Niro who showed him the early version of the movie and asked to write a song for it. «I could definitely identify with Robert De Niro’s character because I have grown-up kids who have their own families», said ex-The Beatles member.

The movie is set to be released in December, as well as a soundtrack for it.
