Paul McCartney named his album Kisses On The Bottom to create "mischief"

Sir Paul McCartney revealed why he has decided to name his new album Kisses On The Bottom. According to the singer, his aim was to create a little "mischief", because he likes to do it and also believes that a bit of controversy is good for the record.

"I like mischief. It's good for the soul, it's always a good idea - if only because people think it's a bad idea", claimed McCartney.

Ex-The Beatles member also pointed that he did not come out with Kisses On The Bottom title himself – it's a line from the song I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter by jazz musician Fats Waller that he covers on the album.

Earlier Paul McCartney claimed that the album will feature only two original compositions – the tracklist will mostly feature songs that were the source of inspiration for him during his career.

"When I kind of got into songwriting, I realised how well structured these songs were and I think I took a lot of my lessons from them", claimed he.

McCartney's last to date album Memory Almost Full was released in 2007.
