Paul McCartney may collaborate with Gorillaz
Jun 06, 2011Sir Paul McCartney revealed that he may start the work on his next studio effort soon. Moreover, ex-The Beatles member claimed he would like to record a duo with Gorillaz for upcoming album.
According to Paul McCartney, collaboration with Gorillaz creator Damon Albarn is his long-time dream. "We have kind of talked - nothing serious but I like what they do. It's got near a couple of times but we never had the time", said he.
McCartney added: "Damon originally brought up the idea of doing something with Gorillaz at the Q Awards and they have been trying to sort something since. It never worked out on their last album, Plastic Beach, but things are looking good for something together in the future".
Paul McCartney is currently working on the reissue of his two debut albums – McCartney I and McCartney II.
