Sir Paul McCartney claimed he did not want to finish his music career. According to Ex-The Beatles member – who is now at the age of 69 – he has been thinking about retirement when he was 50. But later he has given up this idea.

"One of my old guys who I used to have as my manager, I was knocking 50 and he said: "I think it's time you retired". I thought, I know what you mean, but I don't really feel like it, you know. So I decided against it, and got rid of him. I wonder what he thinks today. Perhaps that he was right, but hopefully not ", said Sir Paul.

McCartney added that he would like to make new music as long as possible. "If I'm really enjoying this, why retire?" claimed he.

Paul McCartney revealed that he may start the work on his next studio effort soon. Moreover, ex-The Beatles member claimed he would like to record a duo with Gorillaz for upcoming album.

According to Paul McCartney, collaboration with Gorillaz creator Damon Albarn is his long-time dream. "We have kind of talked - nothing serious but I like what they do. It's got near a couple of times but we never had the time", said he.

Paul McCartney is currently working on the reissue of his two debut albums – McCartney I and McCartney II.
