Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder recorded a duo
Jan 01, 2012Talking about his work with Stevie Wonder, McCartney said: "Stevie Wonder came along to the studio in LA and he listened to the track for about ten minutes and he totally got it. He just went to the mic and within 20 minutes had nailed this dynamite solo. When you listen you just think: "How do you come up with that?" But it's just because he is a genius, that's why".
It is not the first time Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder work together – in 1981 they have collaborated on the track Ebony And Ivory.
Earlier Paul McCartney claimed that the album will feature only two original compositions – the tracklist will mostly feature songs that were the source of inspiration for him during his career.
"When I kind of got into songwriting, I realised how well structured these songs were and I think I took a lot of my lessons from them", claimed he.
McCartney's last to date album Memory Almost Full was released in 2007.
