Paul McCartney and Muse to perform at the BBC charity gig
Oct 10, 2009Sir Paul McCartney and Muse were announced to perform at the upcoming charity concert, organized by BBC and Take That's Gary Barlow. All proceeds from the show will be donated to Children In Need – annual British charity appeal raising money for children struck by poverty.
Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Snow Patrol and Leona Lewis are also set to join the event, as well as famous television presenter Terry Wogan and actor James Corden.
«The gig will help to make 2009 a really special year for Children In Need», said Terry Wogan.
Earlier it was announced that the concert would feature Robbie Williams performing together with Take That for the first time since he left the band in 1995.
The event will take place on November 20 in London.
