Pantera drummer told Slipknot to carry on

Slipknot fronman Corey Taylor revealed his feelings about the death of his bandmate, bassist Paul Gray, and his own future. Singer claimed that he was "living for two people" since Gray has passed away. According to Corey Taylor, he was given such advice by Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul – whose brother and bandmate Darrell Abbott was shot onstage in 2004.

Singer also said he thought that Gray would like Slipknot to continue performing.

"It's important to celebrate life and not revel in death. Paul Gray wouldn't want us to. He would want us to keep going because they loved doing this. He absolutely loved doing this. In his spirit we should continue, I've never seen a guy who loved playing as much as Paulie and who gave so much", said he.

Recently British rapper Professor Green revealed that he has recorded a duo with Sid Wilson, Slipknot's DJ. Rapper added that they may do some more tracks, because he has "lots of ideas in the works" for him.

In his turn, talking about the work with Professor Green, Sid Wilson said: "I ran into him into Australia over at the electronic festival. Me and Clown [Slipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan] went straight there after our tour and I ran into him. I told him I was a total fan and I played his stuff all the time in my truck. I just said let's get down and work together".
