Oasis have set a record

About 500 thousand tickets for Oasis concerts were sold during the first day they went on sale. According to Oasis promoter Chris York «this has to be the most tickets ever sold by an artist in the UK in one day».

Oasis will go on tour in summer 2009 to support their new album Dig Out Your Soul. They also announced special concert in Coventry, Britain, together with The Enemy.
