Noel Gallagher praised Coldplay and criticized his brother

Oasis’ guitarist Noel Gallagher praised Coldplay’s new album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends and slammed his brother Liam Gallagher.

Noel said: «I listen to Violet Hill and it's like The Beatles. Liam fucking hates Coldplay - thinks their stuff sounds like Annie Lennox, but Liam can be a fucking idiot sometimes».

Gallagher also praised U2: «I fucking love U2 and I always have done - I love the size of that band. You cannot deny that U2 have written some great fucking songs».

Oasis has just released new album Dig Out Your Soul.
