Noel Gallagher is willing to collaborate with Coldplay

Oct 10, 2011
Former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher – who has recently released his debut solo effort Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds – addressed other musicians saying that he is willing to record a duo with any of them. According to the musician, there is only one condition – the possible collaborator must be the one who "sells 50 million albums".

"I've never been asked to do a collaboration. I guess I just don't give off that come-and-get-me vibe. I wouldn't be adverse to doing one with Coldplay or U2", said Noel Gallagher.

Despite these words, ex-Oasis man earlier appeared on tracks by The Chemical Brothers, Ian Brown, Paul Weller and Miles Kane.

Recently former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher said he is still sure that the band will reunite one day. Beady Eye frontman even named the date – according to his words, it will happen in 2015, at the time of 20th anniversary of their second album (What's The Story) Morning Glory.

"Noel is the one that started this kind of thing. But I'm definitely up for doing a tour. I don't think me and him will ever be in a full-on band again that's done, I think", added he.
