Noel Gallagher believes in The Stone Roses
Mar 03, 2012Former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher said that he is looking forward to the reunion gigs by The Stone Roses that are set to take place this June. Noel claimed that they surely will be successful because The Stone Roses are "great musicians, with great songs".
"They're great musicians, with great songs and them coming back is going to be mega. I haven't heard any of their new stuff but I'm sure we will very soon. I wouldn't miss those Heaton Park gigs for the world", claimed he.
Last week Noel Gallagher announced plans to release new EP to mark upcoming Record Store Day, which is celebrated on April 21. Titled Songs From The Great White North, it will feature four songs, written for his debut solo effort Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, but not included in it.
One of the songs is Shoot A Hole Into The Sun, recorded in collaboration with British psychedelic rock band Amorphous Androgynous.
