Nicki Minaj wants children to be protected from her songs

Nicki Minaj claimed that she considers her songs – most of which feature explicit lyrics – to be not appropriate for children. Singer said that kids should not be allowed to listen to her tracks, adding that she does not let her little brother to do so.

"I don't want children cursing. I'm very strict on my nieces and my little brother. They have to listen to clean versions of music", said she.

At the same time, Nicki Minaj promised that she would not give up singing such compositions in future: "Why do people ask me to lose swear words? Do people ask Eminem to lose swear words? Do they ask Lil Wayne to lose swear words? Nobody stops them and says: "Would you stop swearing... for the children, please?" So I will not make it", claimed singer.

Recently Nicki Minaj recovered her Twitter account after it was inactive for nine days. Singer has deleted it last week after an online conflict with one of her fans, who posted on the Web several tracks from her new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Talking about her decision to resurrect account, Nicki Minaj said: "A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter and that's what I did. But later it told me to bring it back. I had 11 million followers and I hope they wait for me".
