Next Metallica’s album will be sold through the Web

Metallica said that they may release their next album through the Web by themselves. The band recently came to the end of their record deal, and now musicians are deciding whether to sign new contract or not.

«We have that element of complete freedom with the next record, so we can do whatever we want. We could do an Internet thing», said drummer Lars Ulrich.

Metallica released Death Magnetic album this autumn. At the same time, Ulrich pointed that they were not going to record next album soon.
