New The Hives album to feature 12 tracks

The Hives revealed details concerning their next studio effort. Titled Lex Hives, it is set to hit the stores in June. The album will be preceded by the single Go Right Ahead. All in all it will feature 12 tracks with two additional songs included in deluxe edition of the record.

The Hives frontman Pelle Almqvist claimed that Lex Hives is very different from their previous effort Black And White Hives but at the same time possesses all their trademark features.

"There's no formula, but it definitely sounds like The Hives. Every good band there is has a certain sound. There are a few songs that couldn't have been on any of other Hives album, that are sort of a departure, but I'd say that kind of happened on the last time album too. But I'd also say that they couldn't have been on any other album by anybody else either", said he.
