Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea revealed his impressions of the band's new album I'm With You. According to his words, it turned out to be a very "dynamic" record. He also claimed that the album would represent a number of different emotional states.

"I love our new record. I feel very excited and hopeful that the music will touch the hearts of people listening to the record and seeing it live. It's very dynamic music; it covers a real wide range of emotions and it's exciting", said Flea.

He added that Red Hot Chili Peppers have started the work on I'm With You to avoid splitting up, because they had been ready to disband. "Things had gotten dysfunctional and not fun. We needed to do something", claimed Flea.

Earlier Red Hot Chili Peppers unveiled some information about their new studio effort I'm With You. The record is set to be released in the end of August. It will be preceded by the single The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie that is scheduled to come out in July.

All in all I'm With You will feature 14 tracks. According to Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis, each one of them reflects "the life as it has been experienced" by the band's members during the work on the record.
