New evidence appeared in Michael Jackson’s death case
Feb 02, 2010The call shows Conrad Murray giving instructions to another patient. According to the prosecution, it was made in 11.54am, when Michael Jackson was already unconsicous or even dead – it means that doctor Conrad Murray was not aware of Jackson’s statement.
However, defence states that police timeline is incorrect and the call was made earlier. According to Murray’s attorney, the message proves that Murray was sure he gave Michael Jackson proper medicine.
Michael Jackson has died from a heart attack on June 25 at the age of 50. Soon after Dr Murray admitted that he has given Jackson a powerful drug two hours before his death.
He told police that he injected singer with a huge dose of sedative Propofol which may resulted in cardiac arrest. However, Dr Murray claims that he gave Michael Jackson the drug to make him sleep, and had no criminal intentions.
Dr Murray was officially charged in Los Angeles court on February 8. He is accused of involuntary manslaughter and may face from one to four years in prison. Dr Murray himself pleaded not guilty during the charge.
