My Chemical Romance spoke about new album

Dec 12, 2008
My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way spoke about the band’s next disk. He said that it would not be a concept album like the My Chemical Romance’s three previous records: I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love (2002), Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge (2004) and Welcome To The Black Parade (2006).

«I still think I had something to work out. I think I had to get it out of my system, as far as writing concept records», said he.

Way added: «Obviously, they'll always be cohesive though. The songs need to fit together, that's what makes a great album».

Way also said that My Chemical Romance would start recording after some live shows.
