My Chemical Romance frontman’s comic may be made into movie

Comic superhero series The Umbrella Academy by My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way may be made into movie. It became very popular and drew attention of Universal studio.

«I would prefer people to read the comic first as a point of reference before any film comes out. But the first story, The Apocalypse Suite, is really compact with a beginning, a middle and an end so you could easily make that into a film», said Way.

My Chemical Romance released their last album The Black Parade in 2006.
