My Chemical Romance are collecting cans

My Chemical Romance asked fans to «donate cans from Red Bull and other drinks». As the band’s drummer Bob Bryar explained, they were going to build a Red Bull wall while working on a new album.

Bryar said that he would soon announce the name of My Chemical Romance representative at the Warner Bros record label, who would be receiving donations. Drummer added that he was thinking about transforming a wall of cans into a wall made of everything from «old suitcases to broken remotes».

My Chemical Romance’s last record, titled The Black Parade, was released in 2006. Speaking about the band’s next album, My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way said: « I think the next album will definitely be stripped down. I think the band misses being a rock band».
