Musical featuring David Bowie's songs to be premiered in spring

The premiere date for the musical based on David Bowie's songs was announced. Titled Heroes: The Musical, the play is set to be shown for the first time in March 2012. However, the exact day is yet unknown.

Upcoming musical is the first ever production featuring compositions by David Bowie. All in all it will include twenty songs, such as Heroes, The Man Who Sold The World and Let's Dance.

Script-writer of Heroes: The Musical, Deep Singh, claimed: "We could not really believe it when David Bowie gave us permission. His people had warned us that it was very unlikely that he would be interested and that he had been asked many times before".

However, David Bowie's classic single Space Oddity has been recently remade into children's book.
