Mumford And Sons revealed some details about new album

Mar 03, 2012
Mumford And Sons frontman Marcus Mumford claimed that he would like to clarify recent comments about the band's next studio effort. Earlier the bassist Ted Dwane said that it would sound like "Black Sabbath meets Nick Drake". However, Marcus revealed that it was a joke and the record has nothing to do with heavy metal band and famous guitarist.

"That was a joke to an American journalist who didn't understand the concept of sarcasm. I called Ted Dwane and was like: "Ted, what have you done? We spent our whole first album trying to avoid being pigeonholed". I repeat, it was a joke", claimed Marcus Mumford.

Upcoming record will be Mumford And Sons second studio effort. The first one, named Sigh No More, was released in 2009.
