MTV named Thriller the best album ever

Michael Jackson's disk Thriller was named the best album ever by a special poll. The survey was held by MTV and featured votes by more than 40,000 people.

The second place was surprisingly taken by Craig David's album Born To Do It. There were rumors that his success was a result of fans’ cheating, but singer denied it. David said: «At the time of having this vote and knowing that it's so many different genres of MTV, even if my fans were just trying to make the vote I really don't think it would've made any difference».

The Top-10 albums ever also features Radiohead's record OK Computer, The Joshua Tree by U2 and Nirvana's legendary disk Nevermind.
