Mick Jagger to release an album with his new band

The Rolling Stones' frontman Mick Jagger claimed that his new band SuperHeavy – which he formed earlier this year – has nearly finished the work on its debut album. Yet-untitled record is set to hit the stores in September.

According to Jagger, the whole album has become an improvisation. "It has begun with ideas, a few guitar riffs and a few snippets of lyrics. It's not my usual sort of way of working. You always want to leave some room for improvisation, but you need to have something, some songs, when you walk into the studio", claimed he.

The Rolling Stones' frontman added that the band has recorded 29 tracks in 10 days – some of them are more than 10 minutes long.

Apart from Mick Jagger, SuperHeavy features Eurythmics' Dave Stewart, English soul singer Joss Stone and Damian Marley, son of legendary reggae singer Bob Marley.
