Michael Jackson's bed sold for $12,000

A bed that was slept by Michael Jackson has been sold at the auction in Ireland last night. Anonymous bidder paid approximately $12,000 for the lot. A pair of pajamas, used by Late King Of Pop, was bought by an American entertainment company for $3,700.

Items were put on sale by Coolatore House inn, situated in County Westmeath. Michael Jackson stayed there five years ago while working in the nearby studio.

Recently – on November 7 – LA jury has named Michael Jackson's physician Dr Conrad Murray guilty of involuntary manslaughter over the singer's death. According to the judges, Murray has given Jackson a powerful drug two hours before his death.

Dr Conrad Murray is expected to spend four years in prison and be prohibited from practicing medicine.

Last month Michael Jackson has topped the list of the highest-earning dead celebrities for the second year in a row. During October 2010-October 2011 singer's estate has generated approximately $170 million (last year Jackson got the first place with $288 million).
