Michael Jackson dominates the world’s charts after his death

Michael Jackson's death spawned a huge interest to his music as late King Of Pop has dominated the sales charts all over the world last week. For example, he has spotted the top of both in UK singles and albums charts.

Michael Jackson's best hits album Number Ones has reached the first place after being 121st last week. Thriller, which was 122nd, is now on 7th place. All in all, there are four Michael Jackson's albums in the Top-20 and seven of his records in this week’s Top-75 (including Thriller 25, an anniversary reissue of his classic album).

There are also a total of five Jackson’s singles in the Top 30 and 20 of his songs in the Top-75 – including four old hits recorded with his brother’s in The Jacksons band. The highest place was taken by Man In The Mirror. Thriller rose from the 193rd spot right to 22nd.
