MIA suggested Jay-Z to perform one of her new tracks

MIA revealed that she has got a track for Jay-Z. According to singer's words, it is her "best one for new album which never made it". MIA made this announcement soon after US rapper has unveiled the remix on her track XXXO.

"I have got the perfect song for Jay-Z. In fact, that's the best one that I had for my album which never made it. It was the first song I was really into and the song that actually made my album go in the direction it did, but it never actually made the album", said MIA.

She added: "But I want to give it to Jay-Z, because I think it suits him more. It's insane. He's never done anything like that".

MIA said she was surprised to hear that Jay-Z liked her song. "I also did not think he would like the version that's on the album, and not Blaqstarr's version, which is more ... sort of urban sounding. It was interesting he liked the one with the crazy synths and stuff", claimed she.

XXXO is a lead single from MIA's new album titled MAYA. Jay-Z’s last to date album The Blueprint 3 was released in September 2009.
