Metric announced new album

Members of Canadian indie rock band Metric revealed details concerning their next studio effort. Set to hit the stores in the middle in June, it is their fifth album. The record's title is Synthetica, while the first single from it will be named Youth Without Youth.

According to Metric guitarist Jimmy Shaw – who produced the album – Synthetica is a "superb combination" of their old sound and "something new".

All in all Synthetica will feature 11 tracks, including a collaboration with Lou Reed entitled The Wanderlust:
