Metallica to take part in filming of 3D movie

Jan 01, 2012
Metallica confirmed rumors that the band is taking part in the work on not recently announced 3D movie. However, official statement by the band claims that they can not reveal more and that fans may not hear about this project until 2013.

"We're here to tell you that, yes, there is indeed a 3D project in the very early stages of production! We wish we could tell you more right now, but we don't have all the finer points nailed down just yet. What we can tell you is that we are planning on being in a theatre near you sometime in 2013 and as you hear us say ever so often, this will be the space for all the details as we finalize them", says the statement.

Recently Metallica have posted two new songs online, titled Hate Train and Just A Bullet Away. Both tracks were recorded during the work on the band's last to date album Death Magnetic, but were not included in final tracklisting.

The tracks are set to be featured on upcoming album Beyond Magnetic that features previously unreleased Metallica songs from different times.
