Metallica to release EP with 20-years old tracks

Sep 09, 2010
Metallica announced the release of the new live EP. Titled Six Feet Down Under, it will feature tracks recorded during the band's gigs in Australia from 1989 up to 2004. The earliest one is the performance of Eye Of The Beholder on May 4, 1989 at Festival Hall in Melbourne.

All in all the album will include eight tracks. Some of them are fans' recordings, donated to the band.

Official statement on Metallica website says: "You guys, the fans, came to our rescue with some pretty decent bootleg options and we trimmed those down to two songs from each tour in 1989, 1993, 1998 and 2004. In digging a little deeper, it occurred to us that we had tracks that had never before been released as live b-sides and that added to the adventure of pulling it all together".

Six Feet Down Under is set to be released in the end of this month. Tracklisting for the EP is:
Eye Of The Beholder
...And Justice For All
Through The Never
The Unforgiven
Low Man's Lyric (Acoustic)
Devil's Dance
Frantic
Fight Fire With Fire
